We are seeking a Service Technician who is cheerful, performance driven, resident focused, hardworking, committed, who will go the extra mile with passion for quality and excellence in service

Under the general direction of the Property Manager, the Service Technician will assist with the upkeep and the property's physical attributes.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


Knowledge/Experience:

• Prior experience in effectively managing the needs for an apartment community.
• Good communication skills; interpersonal, written and required documentation
• A thorough knowledge of job description, as it pertains to self.
• Ability to understand, and demonstrate, team compliance in all necessary national and local building codes, safety codes, labor laws, to include but not limited to safe work practices, Fair Housing, Sexual Harassment prevention and ADA, etc.
• Thorough knowledge, understanding, and compliance with Northampton Housing Authority standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines to include, but not limited to safety, Fair Housing, OSHA, appearance, maintenance etiquette and tool requirements
• Ability to maintain high productivity for effective cost.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and specifications Knowledgeable in boilers and chillers and/or individual HVAC System, as applicable ability to review service related reports generated;
• Thorough knowledge, and understanding of preventive maintenance.

Technical/ Educational Requirements:

• Able to adapt to new technologies quickly when required.
• High School diploma or GED. Higher education or trade school preferred.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Bi-Lingual preferred.

Pay:
$20.58 per hour
