Utility Concrete Products is currently looking to add an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist to our growing group of hardworking, intelligent, and dedicated employees.

The AR/AP Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely receipt of cash from the Company's customers and proper accounting for Payables transactions in a B2B environment.

An AR/AP Specialist should be detail oriented, accurate, have a strong work ethic and quality mindset.


Main Responsibilities:

• Primary point of contact for Receivables
• Conduct timely collection calls and appropriate followup
• Prepare Lien Waivers when necessary
• Coordinate Certificates of Insurance
• Work to resolve customer issues related to payments
• Review Purchase Orders/contracts to ensure fair terms and conditions
• Establish credit limits based on financial data and customer references
• Generate and publish reports
• Primary point of contact for Payables
• Process receipts, invoices, expense reports and credit card statements
• Obtain approvals for AP transactions
• Main point of contact for electronic payments to vendors
• Compile support and file weekly check run
• Maintain W9 files
• Ensure Purchase Order data base is accurate
• General
• Open and distribute mail
• Periodically post cash
• Complete other assigned tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications:
years of relevant AR and/or AP experience

• Knowledge of vendor invoice processing and customer collections
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Comfortable working with all levels of a Company
• Selfstarter, accountable, driven, ethical, hardworking, personable, and able to work well independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business
• Contract review skills
