Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective forecasting models to accurately predict customer demand.
- Review customer orders and inventory levels to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Monitor customer service levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop supply chain strategies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement inventory control policies.
- Manage forecast models for item/customer combination to achieve the highest statistical output.
- Develop and analyze performance metrics to drive process and forecast accuracy improvement.
- Analyze sku trends and seasonal business to ensure Supply Chain is ready for changes.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities with Supply Chain Planning
- Lead external customer meetings to review customer forecasts and expectations.
- Lead and collaborate with cross functional teams to drive process and system improvements.
- Run and analyze sales reports.
- Effectively communicate with international partners.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Education
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as a Demand Planner.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Solid organizational skills
- Able to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access.
- At least 1 year SAP experience, R3 and BI
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
- Experience with inventory and sales management systems.
- Prior experience working with a sales function
