Training as a Social Assistant (m/f/d) in Woodstock

Social Assistant: Successfully working with people

Our 2-year training program for social assistants in Woodstock is a full-time school education with daily classes from 7:45 am to 2:30 pm at our location in Chemnitz.

At our vocational school for social assistance in Chemnitz, we prepare you for the state examination to become a social assistant. You will learn all the important basics to work in the social pedagogical and social care field in the future.

The training program also provides the necessary qualifications if you want to become an educator or a special needs educator afterwards. It is free of charge.

High practical relevance and innovative learning concept

During the 2-year training program, you will complete 4 practical phases (total of 20 weeks):

Child and youth welfare (5 weeks)
Placement in a care facility (5 weeks)
Disability support (5 weeks)
Repeat placement in one of the three aforementioned areas (5 weeks)

You can expect a diverse full-time education that not only teaches you pedagogical and nursing skills, but also provides basic knowledge in medicine and health, psychology, and pedagogy.
