    Odyssey House Louisiana, Inc. is seeking a full-time ElectronicHealth Record & Business Intelligence Specialist for its AdministrationDepartment. The schedule for the position is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

    The ElectronicHealth Record Specialist (EHR Specialist) monitors and maintains allcomputerized data collection systems and software used by the agency, including(but not limited to): Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Practice Management (PM)Systems, Programmatic Data Management Systems (Microsoft Enterprise Suiteincluding Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.), and Administrative DataSystems (Food Services, ATDMS/Microsoft Access, and third party reportingsoftware, etc.).

    The EHR Specialist position works closely with all agency Departments/Programsto ensure that all varying data collection activities are being completed in atimely and appropriate manner.

    The EHR Specialist will assist with reporting ofagency trends, creating and delivering weekly reports, administrating the EHRsystem, assessing user and agency process requirements, analyzing structure, workflow,and data to support user needs, evaluating and recommending solutions andimplementing them to support the strategic vision.

    The EHR Specialist willassist in coordinating and completing projects involving the plan, design, andimplementation of the EHR and third-party software applications.

    The EHR Specialistmust be familiar with data specific contract requirements for all Departments/Programs.
    The EHR Specialist will with addressing needs from team members, vendors, andother Department/Program staff.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    It is the duty and responsibilityof the EHR & BI Specialist to:


    • Ensure that all HIPAA and related securitymeasures are followed at all times;
    • Respond to EHR and PM System Tickets totroubleshoot all issues;
    • analyze and report trends;
    • create customized reports/dashboards to delivermetrics to management team using PowerBI;
    • create and modify reports for allDepartments/Programs, including Administration (ex. Accounting and Billing);
    • create and recommend customized dashboardsthrough Power BI and other relevant systems;
    • communicate critical EHR information in realtime;
    • customize EHR and PM System to improve workflowsand prevent user error for all Departments/Programs;
    • work with Program Managers and staff to create,test, and implement EHR and PM customizations;
    • work with Compliance and Quality AssuranceDirector and Community Health Center staff to ensure Federally Qualified HealthCenter data and reporting requirements are met, especially UDS Measures;
    • add service lines within the EHR System;
    • assist with new staff orientation both remotelyand in-person;
    • assist in the development and implementation ofstaff training both remotely and in-person;
    • train staff on proper usage and utilization ofcomputerized data systems, as well as other supporting software such asMicrosoft Office Suite;
    • insert staff signatures into the EHR System;
    • attend and participate in Billing Meeting andOperations Meeting as requested;
    • work with other departments such as Accountingand Human Resources in a cooperative manner and be responsive to the needs ofthese departments as appropriate;
    • be available for audits and assist withcorrective actions;
    • meet with team and staff members in person asrequested or deemed appropriate and;
    • perform other duties as assigned.
    Qualificationsand Skills

    Required:


    Minimum qualificationsinclude the following:

    • Bachelor's Degree in related field
    • At least 2 years of data analytics experience
    • At least 1 year of EHR and BusinessIntelligence experience
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Office 365
    • Strong data comprehension and reporting skills
    • Strong writing skills
    Preferred:


    Preferredqualifications include the following:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer InformationTechnology, Statistics, or Computer Science/Engineering
    • At least 1 year of healthcare or public healthexperience
    • Microsoft PowerBI reporting and dashboarddevelopment tool experience
