DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review the post-bid documents, including checking for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the department's requirements. Meet with the vendors in person if any documents required correction.

Prepare the contract books from two printed project manuals, Addenda, Rider, and two sets of the returned post-bid documents for Legal review.

Coordinate with Legal, and Office of Business Opportunity as needed. Attend Pre-bid and Pre-construction meetings. Upload the Contracts documents on CIPMS. Update the contract bid and award spreadsheet weekly

The position is physically comfortable; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc.

_This is a Department of Houston Public Works Management position at the Tier __II_
_ Level._

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Government or closely related field.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Two (2) years of contract compliance experience are required.


Professional experience related to the type of work to be performed may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
