The Dermot Company, a New York and Florida-based real estate developer and operator, is seeking a full-time Assistant Construction Project Manager (ACPM).
Reporting to the Directors of Construction, the ACPM will support the construction and development team with coordination of capital projects including but not limited to apartment renovations, lobby, elevator, and amenity space improvements, and miscellaneous building safety and maintenance upgrades.
This is a full-time, onsite position with travel primarily within Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.ABOUT US

ABOUT THIS ROLE
As the Assistant Construction Project Manager, you will:
- Procure finishes required for apartment renovations (plumbing fixtures, tile, wood flooring, kitchen cabinets, stone counters, doors/frames/hardware, etc.)
- Coordinate ontime and accurate material deliveries
- Own and track project punch lists and proactively communicate status with internal stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project closeout
- Review invoices and assist the directors with project budgeting
- Secure and maintain project documentation and records (e.g., lien waivers, certificates of insurance, certificates of capital improvement, DOB permits, construction site notices, etc.)
- Serve as the liaison between the general managers, resident managers, and the construction team
- Effectively manage relationships with architects, engineers, contractors and vendors
- Complete ad hoc projects as needed
ABOUT YOU AND WHAT YOU OFFER
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business development, communications or related field
- Prior experience working in a related field in the NYC area
- Consistent
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, collaboration, presentation and organization skills
- Proficient in MSOffice and Google Suite
- Comfortable working with competing priorities
- Have stellar references and a consistent employment history
- A strong professional work ethic and commitment to meet deadlines
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without restrictions whatsoever

Pay:
$70, $80,000.00 per year
