- Manage laboratory personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the laboratory
- Oversee quality control and quality assurance activities, including proficiency testing, internal audits, and external inspections
- Manage laboratory inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment
- Maintain laboratory accreditation and licensure, including ensuring timely renewal of all required licenses
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of laboratory records and reports
- Collaborate with other departments to provide laboratory services and support for research projects
- Keep up-to-date with new laboratory technologies and industry trends
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field
- Current licensure/certification in the State of Montana.
- At least 2 years of experience managing laboratory operations, including personnel management and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing methodologies, and quality control principles
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records
- Experience with laboratory accreditation and inspection processes
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
