    SPECIFIC PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE
    1. Conducts a sensori-motor development assessment of students referred for physical therapy evaluation
    2. Provides to the ARD committee a written report, based on all accessible data, which includes recommendations and suggestions
    3. Participates in ARD meetings of all appropriate students as requested and helps to establish annual goals and objectives
    4. Provides therapy as designated on the student's IEP with activities and instructional methods appropriate for meeting each student's stated goals and objectives
    5. Communicates with each referred student's classroom teachers and parents on a regular basis providing classroom and home programs where appropriate. The goal of these programs is to facilitate more rapid progress toward IEP objectives and further impairment or loss of function
    6. Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports to parents every six weeks
    7. Is responsible for the care and maintenance of equipment and work area, keeping the materials organized, properly stored, and in good working order. Makes recommendations for the purchase of appropriate equipment and material to increase effectiveness
    8. Maintains confidentiality
