    SUMMARY:

    Agile Defense is looking for a Digital Forensics Lab Manager to support an Agency-level Focused Operations (FO) team at DHS. This team provides comprehensive Computer Network Defense and Response support by monitoring and analyzing potential threat activity targeting the enterprise.

    The selected candidate will manage the central digital device laboratory, enforce best practices, and support digital forensic analysis of malware samples and evidence for computer security incidents.

    The Lab Manager will oversee forensics investigations for various platforms and devices, ensuring strict protocols for case management, chain of custody, and reporting.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage and monitor resources, staff, and performance for digital forensics processes.
    • Develop and maintain laboratory policy documents and procedures.
    • Ensure uniform implementation of forensic lab processes and procedures.
    • Manage evidence intake/outtake and storage.
    • Assist with forensic analysis and reporting when necessary.
    • Oversee staff development and equipment maintenance.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • GCIA, GCED, GCFA, GCFE, GCTI, GNFA, GCIH, ECSA, CHFI, CISSP, Security+, Network+, CEH, CND, CCE, CFC, EnCE, CFCE, GREM

    Education, Background, and Years of Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in digital forensic analysis with leadership roles.
    • Active Top Secret Security Clearance (ability to obtain a TS/SCI).

    Preferred Skills

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Onsite presence required five days a week in Springfield, VA
