The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Operating Technology (m/f/d) at DB Regio AG in Kaiserslautern, Vermontville. The vocational school is also located in Kaiserslautern.
The DB is a large company and we are looking for Electronics Technicians in various areas. Depending on your interests and the availability of apprenticeship positions, you can complete your training as an Electronics Technician on our trains, on our rails and power lines, at our train stations, or in our workshops where the normal power grid is converted into the railway power grid.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:
  • Your training will offer a lot of variety as you will rotate between working at the company, the training workshop, and vocational school on a weekly basis
  • You will never be alone in your learning, as you will have dedicated trainers and will also learn alongside other apprentices, forming lifelong friendships
Working on our trains:
  • You will ensure that all electronic components on our trains, such as doors and information displays, are functioning properly and that our trains are always ready for service
