Are you still a kid at heart? Do you like to play games, laugh, and sing? Well you may be the right person to work with young children.

We are looking for warm loving teachers that love to have fun, and enjoy children. We are hiring for full time positions in our Infant, Twos, Threes and Preschool classrooms. Must have regular availability Monday-Friday between 7am-6:30pm.


About Us
We opened our doors in 2015, and have been a RAPIDLY growing preschool in North Center Chicago ever since. We care for children ages 6 weeks - 5 years.

We have a supportive management team that works closely with the staff to create a supportive team-based environment where everyone is willing to help out their coworkers.

Responsibilities
*Provide a loving, nurturing environment for children to learn and play *Supervise, and engage with the students in the classroom *Use games, and activities to teach new ideas with our curriculum *Uphold the DCFS rules and regulations, in addition to the policies and procedures of Children's Lighthouse outlined in the employee handbook *Have fun


Qualifications:

*CPR/First Aid Certified or willingness to be certified *Background Check/Reference Check *Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills *Flexibility to work between the hours of 7am-6:30pm depending on scheduling *Able to lift up to 35 lbs *Able to stand up to 90% of the day *Able to stoop, bend and sit on a child's level *Able to physically and mentally interact and react to children in the classroom and/or on the playground, and attend to their needs *Dependable


Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$15.50 to $16.25 /hour


Available shifts and compensation:
Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $ $17.50/hour.
