Start of training: September 1st, 2024

We need you to ensure the long-term supply of gas, water, district heating and district cooling in Munich. Your training is divided into two parts. In the first two years, you will be trained as a civil engineering specialist, followed by a one-year specialization in pipeline construction. You will learn the majority of all basic crafts at the Construction Industry Center in Nuremberg. The theoretical foundations will be acquired at the vocational school, which is located in Munich in the first year of training and also in Nuremberg from the second year onwards. But don't worry, we will take care of your accommodation and cover your travel expenses. As part of our team, you will support our SWM colleagues directly on the construction site from the second year of training, for example in new construction, operation or maintenance of the pipeline networks.

What to expect from us

You will be involved in supplying citizens with water, gas, district heating and district cooling and actively contribute to the energy transition

In addition to the basic crafts in civil and pipeline construction, we will teach you various techniques for laying and connecting metal and plastic pipe systems

You will support in the maintenance and troubleshooting of pipeline systems as part of our pipeline and civil engineering teams
