- Facilitate, coordinate, and assist with the planning of events and programs including award ceremonies, workshops, career fairs, and orientation programs; organize event logistics including presenters, itineraries, and communication plans; serve as a point of contact with vendors and event partners; coordinate with leadership to establish and assess event goals; assist with developing strategies to ensure event success

Description
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:The Smeal Student Services Assistant provides comprehensive administrative functions and student support across six professional graduate programs requiring exceptional organizational skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to student success. This position works primarily with the Student Success Team, but will also collaborate with other teams in the PGP department i.e. Career Services and Admissions. Previous experience in a student service or administrative support role is desirable. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as required.
Requires an Associate's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
