Essentials Duties

Analyze current shipping, logistics and supply chain processes to identify gaps and differences compared to the new ERP to early manage and solve bottlenecks and identify possible areas for improvement.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather data and insights on shipping operations.
Lead the transition to a new ERP software system for the shipping department during the golive phase
Work closely with IT and to configure the ERP software to meet the needs of the shipping department.
Train shipping department staff on the use of the new ERP software system.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of shipping processes and identify areas for further improvement.
Provide regular updates to management on the progress of the ERP implementation and shipping process optimization initiatives.
Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in shipping operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with ERP software systems, preferably in a shipping or logistics environment, ideally AS400 and/or Dynamics 36
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Detailoriented with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Use Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and the Internet, if required.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Ability to travel up to 20%, at times.
