The Closing City Title and Escrow is a full service title insurance company offering comprehensive title and closing services to real estate professionals, buyers and sellers throughout the State of Florida.


We are seeking a reliable Accounting Assistant who will be responsible for supporting our accounting department by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients and vendors, and reconciling bank statements and other records.

You will also be tasked with managing office supplies by keeping inventory and ordering new materials as needed.

  • Ability to self start and high energy level.
  • Ability to maintain existing accounts.
  • Maintain professional, friendly, courteous manner when dealing with clients, both internal and external.
  • Maintain superior level of customer service by followup with customers and communicating with agency staff as needed.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
  • Complete bank reconciliations.
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
  • Check spreadsheets for accuracy.
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records.
  • Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed.
  • Review and file payroll documents.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits.
  • Help with budget preparation.
  • Handle monthly payroll using accounting software

Job Requirements:


  • Proficiency with SoftPro is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Associate degree in related field with work experience.
  • More education, experience, or additional certifications and licenses may be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping, accounts payable, and receivable principles.
  • Proactive organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Monday to Friday

$45, $50,000.00 per year
