- Work with the Program Systems Engineering Lead and/or sub-discipline architects in establishing a highly customized network design and architecture
- Ability to take an existing, or many existing networks from separate disparate sources and network them together.
- Architect different networks across separate subsystems to isolate network traffic, only allowing traffic which is required.
- Work with a team of system engineers and/or interdisciplinary subject matter experts to provide feedback into the MBSE tools to ensure the network architecture is documented.
- Must be able to work with minimal assistance / guidance
- Be a member of Integrated Product Team responsible for the scope and associated cost and schedule. Interface with cross functional teams and customer on regular basis to effectively execute the scope.
- Have the ability to travel domestically (up to 30% travel)
- This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin.
- U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This role may require the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting the position.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
- Due to the Government Security clearance requirement U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
- Familiarity with configuration and management of HPE, Dell and Juniper network devices (e.g - firewalls, switches)
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, IP configuration, peer-to-peer networking and IP addressing and subnetting
- Tier 3 troubleshooting skills for both switch & router technologies
- Understanding of system architectures and multi-site connections
- Experience with interaction of servers, switches, and firewall interconnections
- Experience with performance-based, low latency network interactions
- DoD 8570 IAT level II or III certification (eg. Sec +, CASP, CISSP)
- Experience / familiarity with Linux and/or UNIX shell scripting
- Experience / familiarity with Ansible or other network automation tools
- Infrastructure experience with racks, power, cooling, and storage
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline concepts.
