Cascades Healthcare is actively networking to hire an Administrator in Training.You will complete your training in either Utah, Idaho, or Texas. To be considered for this position, you must be willing to work in any of those three locations.
After you obtain your NHA license, you may be offered an Administrator position at one of our Utah, Texas, or Idaho skilled nursing facilities.
Capably absorbing and interpreting large amounts of information, processing and implementing best-practice strategies, along with strong communication skills, will help ensure success as a nursing home administrator.
Successful Administrators have an entrepreneurial mindset, driven to create & maintain profitability through superior business management.Here is a list of prospective duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility and keep the organization on track for its long-term goals and mission
- Coordinate and provide leadership to each clinical, managerial, and custodial team, and ensure that they work effectively together
- Recruit/hire staff at every level
- Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure residents' individual care plans are being followed
- Provide regular safety and compliance training
- Create and maintain a budget
- Oversee billing and set fees
- Act as the 'face' of the organization to the governing board, the public, and residents' families
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Master's degree preferred
- Healthcare related experience preferred but not required
- Strong financial aptitude
- Prior leadership experience preferred.
