- Filling for up to two or more positions (TBD)
- This role is a 12-month, 40-hour per week position with possible schedule flexibility based on business needs.
- Mainly located in the General Medicine clinic with potential to rotate in other UHS clinics as required.
- Provide primary medical healthcare services to UT Austin students as a UHS General Medicine Provider.
- Engage in committees, policy revisions, and peer review processes.
- Support the organizational goals.
- Undertake other assigned duties.
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO).
- Completion of ACGME Residency Program in the U.S.
- Current Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Unrestricted Texas medical license without disciplinary actions.
- Minimum two years' experience in ambulatory primary care with electronic medical records.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
- Relevant education and experience substitutions accepted.
- More than the required experience.
- At least two years working with young adult patients, preferably in college health settings.
- Experience in supervising nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants.
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records, preferably Point and Click.
- Familiarity with integrated behavioral health clinics.
- Experience with college-age populations.
- Standard office conditions.
- Potential exposure to biohazards.
- Regular keyboard use.
- Manual dexterity required.
- Lifting and moving tasks.
- Exposure to office, clinic, and maintenance-related items.
- 40 hours per week, evening and weekend flexibility.
- Clinic hours: 8AM - 5PM.
