The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 professions who want to become even better with us.

We are currently looking for you for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Operating Technology (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Halle (Saale).

The vocational school and training workshop are located in Leipzig. If certain requirements are met, we will support you with longer travel distances (for example, financially).

What to expect in your apprenticeship:

  • You will work outdoors in the rail network with your team
  • Maintenance and repair of signaling and safety technology, such as control systems, signals, switch motors, and level crossings
  • Analysis and elimination of malfunctions
  • Knowledge of measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures as well as their expert documentation

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your secondary school education
  • Math, physics, and computer science are among your favorite subjects
  • You have manual dexterity and enjoy tinkering with electronic systems
  • You are characterized by your conscientious and independent work style as well as your ability to work in a team
