Overview:
We are seeking an outgoing, highly organized and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to join our team.

This is a key role that requires strong financial collections, administrative, and employee relations skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Business Office Manager (BOM)
is responsible for the following:

  • Collecting and processing all residential rent payments and conducting follow-up and collection action on delinquent accounts.
  • Issuing 30Day eviction notices for nonpayment.
  • Resolving balance disputes as needed/requested from responsible parties.
  • Preparing and submitting documentation for move in incentives and writeoffs.
  • Processing all move in/move outs in Yardi Voyager property management system.
  • Accurately coding departmental invoices and forwarding to Corporate personnel for payment.
  • Supervising front desk staff and scheduling shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage. Offering direction, suggestions and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Assisting with payroll processing.
  • Conducting new hire and midyear inservice trainings for State compliancy.
  • Processing FMLA and LOA requests.
  • Implementing the employee improvement and disciplinary process.
  • Enforcing facility personnel policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with managers on hiring needs.
  • Composing and placing job ads.
  • Conducting interviews to fill job openings.
  • Conducting background checks and I9 verifications.
  • Ordering office supplies and materials.

Requirements:


  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. High school diploma required.
  • 13 Years of Human Resources and financial collections experience required.
  • Current knowledge of accounts receivable management and basic accounting procedures required.
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager property management system and Microsoft Outlook is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
We offer competitive compensation based on experience.


Pay:
$ $26.82 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
