Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, and manage supplier relationships
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payment to suppliers
Requirements:
- Degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a purchasing agent or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms for procurement purposes
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Knowledge of selling and buying processes in a business setting
- Familiarity with sourcing and procurement strategies
Requirements -Good attitude and customer skills -neat appearance-Willingness to work some long hours as needed/some weekends Valid driver's license -Ability to work alone with little supervision or with a team as the project requires.
Pay:
$60, $70,000.00 per year
