    # Valleywise Behavioral Health Center has inpatient facilities in Mesa, Phoenix, and Maryvale and is one of Arizona#s largest providers of inpatient behavioral health services.

    We serve adolescent and adult populations.

    The adolescent unit is located in Mesa with a 14-bed unit specializing in caring for patients ages 13 to 17.

    We have an extensive medical staff of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, with dedicated physician leadership at each of our inpatient facilities.

    ## # Hourly Pay Rate:

    $ $48.44 This is a night shift opportunity. The night shift pay differential will be paid at 18% of the employee#s base rate of pay.

    # # Qualifications

    Education:
    Prefer a Bachelor#s degree or higher in Nursing


    Experience:

    Must successfully complete the Valleywise Health New Graduate RN training program#or#have prior acute nursing experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

    Previous acute care hospital experience in the area they are applying is preferred.


    Certification/Licensure:

    Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license; temporary AZ RN license; or valid compact RN licensure for current state of practice.

    Must also be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing. Requires a BLS card obtained through American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.

    CPI certification and BLS training will be provided upon hire/transfer to BH departments,# In addition, certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice:

    Ambulatory Clinics:

    Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety OR submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire.

    Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within ninety (90) days of applying for fingerprint clearance card.


    Angio Suite:
    Must obtain ACLS # PALS within six (6) months of hire or transfer


    Antepartum Testing Center:
    Requires Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification Upon hire.

    Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety OR submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire.

    Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within ninety (90) days of applying for fingerprint clearance card.


    APCU:
    ACLS certification required upon hire or transfer


    BH Unit 2 Adolescent:

    Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety OR submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire.

    Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within ninety (90) days of applying for fingerprint clearance card.


    Burn Med Surg Adult:
    BLS # ACLS required upon hire; PALS required within 6 months. ABLS required within 1 year.


    Burn Med Surg Peds:
    BLS # ACLS required upon hire; PALS required within 6 months. ABLS required within 1 year.


    Burn Center ICU:
    BLS # ACLS required upon hire; PALS required within 6 months. ABLS required within 1 year.


    Burn Unit Emergency:
    ACLS and PALS required upon hire. ABLS required within 1 year.


    Burn Clinic:
    BLS; ACLS required upon hire; PALS required within 6 months. ABLS required within 1 year.


    Cath Lab:
    Must have BLS # ACLS certification at time of hire or transfer


    Dialysis:

    Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety OR submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire.

    Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within ninety (90) days of applying for fingerprint clearance card.


    ED # Roosevelt:

    ACLS and PALS required upon hire; and ATCN or TNCC as well as ENPC required within twelve (12) months.

    Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six (6) months of hire. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification, Pediatric Certified Emergency Nurse (PCEN) or Trauma Certified Emergency Nurse (TCRN) is preferred.


    ED-Maryvale:
    #ACLS and PALS #required upon hire. Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six (6) months of hire. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN, Pediatric Certified Emergency Nurse (CPEN) is preferred.


    ENDO:
    ACLS and PALS required within six (6) months of hire or transfer. Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) certification preferred.


    FQHC Primary Care:

    Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety OR submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire.

    Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within ninety (90) days of applying for fingerprint clearance card.


    L#D:

    ACLS # NRP required upon hire or within three (3) months of hire or transfer if new grad/new to service.

    If less than 2 years of RN L#D experience the candidate must complete AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring class within six (6) months and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring class within 2 years.

    #If greater than two (2) years of RN L#D experience will need AWHONN advanced fetal monitoring upon hire. Advanced Fetal Monitoring must be maintained every two (2) years through an approved course.


    IRP:
    Must obtain ACLS certification upon Hire or Transfer. Additional certifications may be required to work in specialty areas.


    McDowell Clinic:
    HIV certification required within thirty (30) months;

    Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety OR submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire.

    Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within ninety (90) days of applying for fingerprint clearance card.


    Medical:
    ONS (Chemotherapy Biotherapy Card) within twelve (12) months of hire or transfer, must obtain ACLS certification upon Hire or Transfer


    Medicine Specialty Clinic:

    Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety OR submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire.

    Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within ninety (90) days of applying for fingerprint clearance card.


    MICU/ Critical Care:
    Must obtain ACLS upon hire or transfer.
