We are currently seeking a Mechatronics Technician, Automotive Mechatronics Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or Signal Mechanic (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our locations in Darmstadt, Gernsheim (Schöfferstadt), or Groß Umstadt.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of systems in the field of signaling and safety technology
  • Focusing on electronic components such as signals, switches, and control systems, while also gaining knowledge of mechanical components
  • Working mostly in a team, but also independently and reliably, to complete tasks in your regional area
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, primarily working outdoors
  • Creating and reporting fault reports, as well as troubleshooting and repairing track systems
  • Starting and ending your workday at your central base, where you will collect all necessary materials, modern equipment and measuring instruments, and your vehicle

Your profile should include:

  • A completed apprenticeship in electrical engineering, such as Mechatronics Technician, Automotive Mechatronics Technician, Automotive Mechanic, Electrical Specialist, Electrician, or Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Automation Technology
  • Willingness to work outdoors
  • After comprehensive training, willingness to participate in rotating oncall duty
