Description

Responsibilities of a Customer Service/Collection Representative include:

  • Effectively handle high volume of inbound and outbound collections calls
  • Call consumers who owe money to our clients and discuss their ability to pay and share repayment options available
  • Document consumer interactions in collections database
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly performance goals, deadlines and objectives
  • Comply with FDCPA and state consumer protection laws
  • Skiptracing
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of a Customer Service/Collection Representative:

  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability to create a sense of urgency
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well organized, ability to multitask
  • Efficient use of autodialer system
  • Effective decisionmaking skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Coachable: receptive to feedback and strive for continuous improvement

Physical Qualifications:


  • Be able to lift a minimum of 5 pounds
  • Be able to sit 90% of the work day at times
  • Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
  • Be able to communicate in a common language with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
  • Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
  • Be able to complete a minimum of a 40hour flexible workweek schedule

This an hourly rate position with uncapped monthly bonus opportunity. No agencies, EOE, drug free workplace.
