    Compliance Officer-fast and growing healthcare organization

    Evolve1talent is supporting a long term client in search for a Compliance Officer. The Compliance Officer is a pivotal leadership role responsible for steering the compliance strategy and ensuring the integrity of the organization's operations. This role entails the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to HIPAA, accreditation standards, and all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of compliance initiatives across the organization, aligning them with the overall strategic goals.
    • Program Development: Research, design, and implement robust compliance programs, policies, and procedures to foster a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all departments adhere to HIPAA regulations, accreditation standards, and other relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitoring and Auditing: Oversee regular audits and monitoring activities to assess compliance levels, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Training and Education: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to educate staff on compliance protocols and regulatory changes.
    • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks through continuous assessment and enhancement of compliance processes.
    • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on compliance activities, findings, and improvement plans to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of compliance practices across all operational areas.

    Qualifications:

    • 10 years of proven experience in a compliance leadership role, preferably within the healthcare industry OR heavily regulated environment.
    • 8 years' experience regulatory audit experience and managing accreditation processes
    • In-depth knowledge of HIPAA regulations, accreditation standards, and other relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and collaborate with diverse teams. "Hands on Leader, required"
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
    • Manages process for accreditation for URAC, VIPPS and ACHC.
    • Background to include private equity and/or mid-size corporations
    • Experience leading mid to large teams
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CHC, CHPC) preferred.
