    Our large manufacturing client located in Peoria, Illinois, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer, to add to their team.

    Summary

    • Provide manufacturing solutions to the assembly and disassembly of engines
    • Develop and implement assembly processes in line with our client's standard processes
    • Provide analysis to drive to root cause and/or determine improvements, and lead projects to develop and implement solutions
    • Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, develops solutions, and monitors improvements
    • Procure material related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers
    • Respond to customer issues and lead process improvements
    • Improve Value Stream metrics by defining and implementing process improvement activities

    Typical task breakdown:

    • Standard work, tooling design, tooling orders, BIQ walk backs

    Interaction with team:

    • Team environment, working with mechanics and technicians
    • Strong interpersonal skills

    Work environment:

    Lab/Office environment

    Education & Experience Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology. Any amount of experience will be considered with a Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study.
    • Will accept non degree candidates, must have engine experience with 5+ years related experience.
    • Technical Skills

    (Required)

    • Design experience (Creo preferred)
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

    (Desired)

    • Engine or testing experience

    Soft Skills

    (Required)

    • Strong communication skills
