    Our esteemed manufacturing client in Peoria, Illinois, is searching for a skilled Manufacturing Development Research Engineer to join their dynamic team.

    Key Contributions to the Team:

    • Product Development (NPI)
    • Creo modeling
    • Print detailing
    • FMEA
    • DVP&R
    • APQP
    • Analysis coordination
    • Supplier CPPD
    • Tolerance stack-up, o-ring calculations, bolted joint analysis

    Tasks Overview:

    • Designing components/systems in line with APQP and NPI schedules

    Team Collaboration:

    • Regular interaction with core development team members and supervisors
    • Ongoing teamwork with various support resources like SDE, suppliers, mechatronics, analysis, and purchasing

    Work Environment:

    • Primarily office-based
    • Engagement in practical lab/test settings (testing hardware, coordination, inspection) - more involvement during project validation phase

    Required Education & Experience:

    • BS in Engineering
    • 2-5 years of relevant experience

    Essential Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in 3D modeling/print detailing
    • Thorough understanding of GD&T
    • Experience in product development

    Preferred Technical Skills:

    • Background in Engine/Fuel systems development
    • Experience in detailing/releasing
    • Proficiency in Structural FEA and Hydraulic analysis
    • Product validation knowledge
    • Understanding of manufacturing processes
