Job Overview:


The Facilities Operations Manager will work closely with the Director of Facilities to ensure the aesthetics of the property are exceptional at all times, that we have continuity in operations, that we provide an overall safe environment for Guests and Team Members, that we implement safe work practices in the department, and that we maintain groundskeeping.

This position assists others within the Facilities department with the implementation and adherence to our Purpose and Value System.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ensures team members are enthusiastically committed to the Wind Creek Purpose and Value System
  • Inspires and empowers team members by recognizing their work and elevating their level of personal accountability
  • Ensures team members are performing guest services as per Wind Creek Standards
  • Manages the daytoday maintenance operation of the property to develop an environment that creates an exciting fantasy world of fun, chance, and possibility for our guests and team members
  • Adhere to, and enforces, policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, internal controls, Company policies and procedures, and organizational goals
  • Models, promotes, monitors and assures workplace safety throughout the property
  • Supervises Supervisors with executive and administrative direction and control to maintain reliability, functionality, and efficiency of built environment
  • Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all construction and special projects performed with inhouse forces and/or outside contractors
  • Ensures procurement guidelines are followed in the sourcing of goods or services
  • Ensures that proper maintenance practices are followed on key operating equipment of the facility and schedules the timing of maintenance or upgrade work with the appropriate internal and external resources
  • Performs firstlevel stewardship of unit's budget as Facilities Operation budget lose Directors oversight
  • Hires, manages, evaluates, initiates base pay changes, and disciplines Supervisors and frontline Technicians, with close Directors oversight, and collaboration with HR officials
  • Produces and maintains operational focus of department on quarterly objectives
  • Maintains the list of proposed projects and periodically schedules meetings with the executive team to prioritize the projects
  • Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be twentyone (21) years of age or older
  • Bachelors Degree in Related Field AND two (2) years Relevant Supervisory experience

  • OR Four (4) years experience in a Relevant Management position

  • OR Four (4) years experience in a Supervisory position with Wind Creek Hospitality

  • Three (3) years of successful experience with 4000 amp or greater electrical service in a 24/7 environment that also incorporates UPS systems for key activities (IT room) and a backup generator for the rest of the facility

  • Record of successful supervision of frontline Technicians for at least five (5) years

  • Record of successfully supervising or managing a department or business function with increasing administrative responsibilities as measured by meeting budget responsibilities, hiring and maintaining proper staffing levels, ensures staff is trained and qualified in their areas of expertise

  • Record of success in meeting objectives through directing the work of subordinates

  • Record of timely completion of projects and work with increasing responsibilities for outcomes in time frames of multiple quarters up to a single fiscal year
