Description

This is an exciting and fast paced position; you will be provided a company vehicle, iPad and cell phone to complete your daily work.

No unpaid commute time; a locate technician starts their day from their home and plans a route out to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.

Work is deadline based, so work hours may fluctuate and overtime may be required to meet legal and customer requirements.

Job requires being in an after hours on-call rotation, which will necessitate being available some nights, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

A utility locate technician must be detailed oriented, able to work independently, and with mínimal supervision.

Have the ability to adapt to changes in a planned work day to accommodate any emergency ticket requests or other issues that arise.

Ability to read and understand GIS utility mapping and use visuals to locate and identify utilities.

Be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to safely work in all weather and road conditions.

Work is often performed on busy streets or construction sites.

A valid and clean driver's license is required.

Pay range for this position is $19.00 to $24.00 per hour depending upon experience.
