As a Sr.

Accessory Supply Analyst, you'll dive into the world of data, conducting independent analysis to optimize port/distribution center/dealer parts inventory management.

You'll be the go-to person for handling various ad hoc requests, ensuring parts availability aligns seamlessly with brand accessory needs at ports and distribution centers.

The Analyst will be responsible for tracking KPIs like Fill Rate, Backorder Lines, and Inventory objectives will be instrumental in keeping our operations running smoothly.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Update and validate data for pipeline and transfer file with required data, initiate purchase orders/transfers as necessary 35%
  • Effectively communicate with Management on business KPIs, part shortages, excess & obsolete inventory projections, and other critical inventory metrics. Provide counter measures for improved customer service 25%
  • Work closely with brands and ports to support business needs 20%
  • Place monthly purchase orders to appropriate distribution center locations utilizing demand and forecast, enter transfer orders as needed to minimize referral costs, analyze facing distribution center needs to support port demand 10%
  • Work closely with expediting team to ensure timely resolution of critical needs such as port shortages / backorders 5%
  • Develop, review, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with Supply Team leadership on auditing adherence to SOP's 5%

PERSONALLY PERFORMED DUTIES

  • Update Pipeline and transfer sheets daily utilizing data from SAP.
  • Review suggested transfer file and initiate transfers to balance out inventory.
  • Review port installation errors and provide support on other error resolutions.
  • Review aged in transit report to ensure appropriate clean up steps are taken.
  • Support any adhoc requests for analysis, information, special projects, or additional tasks.
  • Run queries in the Data Warehouse (DW) based on requirements specified by management.
  • Periodically check Data Warehouse for data integrity, and work with systems to correct any issues.
  • Monitor orders and work closely with expedite team to ensure any critical parts are resolved.
  • Study current forecasting and inventory management processes and implement any necessary changes to improve accuracy and efficiency. The goal is to create common, integrated processes to support OEs.
  • Coordinate with OEs to address any problems affecting the planning and expediting of parts.
  • Monitor KPIs and action on appropriate steps to meet objectives.
  • Communicate with Management of MPA and OEs issues and resolutions to provide better customer service through process improvement.
  • Reply to shortage reports as needed.
  • Send monthly inventory update sheet to ports.
  • Attend port audits as needed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred or combination of education and related experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 35 years of directly related experience in inventory management
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems/issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure positive results are required
  • Experience with inventory planning required
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills (Reports and Timelines)
  • Experience with Access or other SQL preferred
  • Python experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation - Hourly Wage, $62, ,214.85
