Responsibilities:
Work with Supply Chain Management pertaining to purchasing to ensure on-time deliveries of materials and services.
Support supplier order confirmation, follow-ups, and troubleshooting.
Provide assistance in getting requisitions approved.
Provide spending reports.
Follow-up and help expedite any purchase order creation and amendment.
Perform purchase order changes, after initial issuing, as needed and authorized.
Develop a relationship with Accounts Payable to ensure prompt and accurate payment to vendors.
Be proactive when identifying possible inventory and service issues related to the backlog of purchase orders or requisitions not transformed to procurement orders.
Perform supplier management, including vendor setup, maintain communication with sales representatives, and support client QA for supplier qualification.Collaborate with Materials and Warehouse management for the flow of incoming raw materials, retrieve CoAs and participate in the materials release process as needed.

Do you have 2+ years of experience in procurement in the cell and gene therapy industry?
Do you have SAP equivalent system knowledge is a plus
Do you have Knowledge of procurement fundamentals
Able to interact professionally with people at all levels both within the organization as well as vendors.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Office, SharePoint, Teams)
Background in cell and gene therapy
Nice to haves:
Experience working with computers and software, including Microsoft Office, and systems including ERP, QMS, and IMS is a plus.
Preferred background in Pharma/Life Sciences
