Salary Range:
$28.00-$35.00 Per Hour


SUMMARY:

The Landscaping Foreman plays a crucial role in maintaining the grounds of the campus. This position involves hands-on landscaping work and requires the Foreman to set the pace by leading through example.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Grounds Maintenance:

  • Supervise the landscaping crew, track their hours, and ensure punctuality.
  • Manage the maintenance and operation of all onsite equipment.
  • Mow turfgrass areas on the campus.
  • Plant seasonal flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Prepare mulch beds and planting areas.
  • Perform minor equipment repairs.
  • Keep grounds and roads free of debris.
- Snow Removal:

  • Lead the crew in snow and ice management activities.
  • Be present for all winter weather events.
  • Experience with snow removal equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of experience as a Landscape Foreman or in Landscape Management.

  • Able to pass background checks for military base access.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and endurance.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions.
  • Ability to focus on tasks and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
