What We Are Looking For?

Seeking 1-2 Part Time Job Coach/Employment Specialist.
We are currently hiring for our Transition Program serving individuals 14-21 years of age with developmental disabilities
.

Must be able to work 3-4 days a week in the afternoon/ evening with Saturdays included.

Must be willing to travel to Bergen and Morris Counties.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Lead Student Intern Workshops using Avidd Pre-ETS curriculum

Monitor student interns work schedules and timesheets
:

-
Worksite development and liaison between Avidd and community employers
:

-
Liaison for student, guardian and employer
:

-
Documentation of services
:

-
Assisting student with transportation needs
:

-
Schedule flexibility is a must, required evening or weekend hours based on program's needs.

Qualifications:

-
Minimum Associates Degree in Human Services related field from an accredited college
:

Three years experience working with the DDD population
:

-
Bogg Center Employee Specialist Foundation Trainings required within 90 days of hire
:

-
Understanding of DVRS and Pre-Employment Transition Services preferred
:

-
Experience with transition aged 14-21 years old. Youth a plus.
