Scope
This position will provide support for the accounting operations and assist the Financial Manager in Finneytown, OH.
Responsibilities
- Perform daytoday accounting tasks
- Handle general administrative duties such as communicating with banks, suppliers, and other departments to maintain good relationships and address any potential issues
- Assist the financial manager with month, quarter, and yearend closing processes
- Monitor cash flow requirements
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities
- Prepare financial reports and balance sheets
- Create and analyze budgets
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain communication with auditors, tax specialists, banks, and other financerelated parties
- Prepare VAT declarations
- Support the financial manager in daily operations
- Fill in for the financial manager when needed
- Ensure compliance with global and company policies and laws
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or Financial Manager
- Familiarity with various accounting software (experience with Microsoft AX, SAP, Oracle, etc. is a plus)
- Proficiency in English and excellent Excel skills
