    About the Role:
    The Principal Business Manager will spearhead growth in one of our USA corridors, focusing on customers sending money to a specific country from the USA. This position entails strategic planning, analytics, and operations, involving the development and execution of initiatives across various departments including product, pricing, marketing, analytics, and customer service. The Principal Business Manager will directly report to the Director of Business Management.

    You are expected to work in a Hybrid environment at either the Seattle or Washington DC Office.

    You Will:
    • Drive sustainable growth in our USA to key countries' corridors, overseeing overall corridor performance metrics such as new customers, monthly active customers, transactions, volume, revenue, unit economics, and customer lifetime value
    • Facilitate customer learnings and hypothesis generation to iterate efficiently towards desired customer and business outcomes
    • Monitor competition, market trends, and customer insights, translating regional strategies into specific market objectives across various functions
    • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, pricing, and other relevant teams to identify strategies for enhancing KPIs within the region and elevating the overall customer experience
    • Leverage analytics by collaborating with pricing, product, and marketing teams to conduct customer behavior and market analyses, deriving insights and developing actionable plans
    • Ensure excellence in initiative execution, establishing the right strategic context and clear prioritization for stakeholders
    • Develop business cases for key initiatives and influence the prioritization of partner-teams' roadmaps using structured business impact and customer-centric frameworks
    • Formulate long-term strategies and offer input in leadership decision-making
    You Have:
    • 9+ years of experience in Business Management or Strategy Consulting within Fintech, consumer technology, or e-commerce sectors
    • Proven track record of making data-driven decisions based on qualitative and quantitative insights
    • Proficiency in data modeling and analysis
    • Experience working in a global matrix organization and dynamic international environments
    • Understanding of the drivers and mechanics behind high transaction volume businesses
    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, ability to generate high-quality hypotheses combining qualitative and quantitative insights
    • Experience in mentoring junior team members or cross-functional squads in addressing complex business challenges with significant impact
    • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop business and customer-centric solutions
    Compensation Details.The starting base salary range for this role typically falls between $160,000 and $200,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees have ownership in the company through equity as part of the total compensation package.
