The Michael Neely Neuroscience Critical Care Unit (NSCCU) is an 8 bed ICU that focuses on providing patient and family centered care to Neuroscience, Surgical, and Trauma critically ill patients.
The NSCCU is fully equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and related intensive care support systems to provide comprehensive patient care in a critical care setting.

The home unit for this position is Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) and it is clustered with Surgical ICU (SICU) / Medical ICU (MICU).
You may be scheduled to work on the unit(s) you are clustered to off your home unit.This role focuses on providing professional and nonprofessional nursing care services in accordance with physician orders.
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care needs of a designated group of patients or provides nursing care and identified clinical support tasks within the scope of practice for achievement of the patient's plan of care as directed.
Provides professional nursing care to patients. Requires a nursing license.The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education.
