JOB SUMMARY
The Business Analyst Radiology is responsible for developing, maintaining and management of comprehensive data to support the Radiology service line within the NCH Healthcare System.

The position must ensure data quality and integrity and is responsible for receiving, compiling, and reconciling data for analysis.

These responsibilities include creating and running reports at periodic times, creating, and writing ad-hoc reports and other work as assigned to maintain databases that are accurate and dependable.

Supports radiology leadership by performing administrative duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**_ - Other duties may be assigned._ - Develops and maintains Radiology requisitions. Works directly with vendors, hospitals departments and materials management to provide appropriate justification, quotes, and requisitions for Radiology requests.

- Performs financial and operational analysis to develop appropriate recommendations to drive financial and operations decisions for the department/business unit.

- Coordinates the annual budgeting process, including annual expense budget reports. - Prepares assigned business plans and special projects. - Performs daily evaluation of RIS and PACS systems for outstanding reporting, image reconciliation and data corrections. - Generates standard reports on a routine and ad-hoc basis. Develops custom reports as needed. - Variance analysis - complete monthly variance analysis of revenue and expense accounts.

- Creates end user training guides and updates as needed; meets with users to understand current workflow and future state of redesigned workflows as required.

- Maintains Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Quality worksheets and files for monthly reporting. - Maintains State Licenses for all Radiology equipment and RAM Licenses for the NCH Healthcare System. - Responsible for management of all occupational radiation exposure reports, badge requests and expirations. - Assists Department Director and Managers with daily tasks and project assignments. - Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, records and transcribes meeting minutes. - Completes time and attendance, shift scheduling and review for department. Works with Timekeeping Associates to forward exception logs daily.

- Develops and manages a set of meaningful metrics that demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of the department on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum of an Bachelor Degree with 3 years of experience in radiology operations, business operations, customer service and/or healthcare. OR - Minimum of High School/GED with 9 years of experience in radiology operations, business operations, customer service and/or healthcare. - Ability to solve complex problems in a timely manner. - Accurate with good attention to detail. - Ability to work under own initiative / self-motivated. - Understanding of financial cost and budgeting. - Experience working in a large cross-functional team environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Visio).
