Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services. This position requires strong knowledge of medical coding, billing systems, and regulations.


Responsibilities:

• Review and verify patient information, medical records, and insurance details
• Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD10, ICD9, DRG) to diagnoses and procedures
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and appeal if necessary
• Process payments from insurance companies and patients
• Maintain accurate billing records and update patient accounts as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies or issues
• Stay updated on industry changes and regulations related to medical billing

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Medical Biller or similar role
• Strong knowledge of medical coding systems (ICD10, ICD9) and billing procedures
• Familiarity with medical office software and systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

$ $29.88 per hour
