Your responsibilities:

  • As part of the practical training, you will go through all logistics areas - from goods receipt to disposition to goods issue.
  • In addition, you will gain insight into other departments, such as purchasing, sales, production, and production planning, in order to understand the processes.
  • In goods receipt, you will receive the delivered goods, check the delivery for completeness and accuracy based on the accompanying documents, and ensure that the goods are properly packaged.
  • In the goods issue area, you will pick our end products based on customer orders and prepare them for delivery to our customers. You will learn how to label, mark, and secure shipments according to legal requirements.
  • You will be responsible for inventory control and the storage of goods.
  • You will create loading lists and support your colleagues in logistical planning and organizational processes.
  • In addition to on-the-job training, theoretical knowledge will be taught at the Jakob-Friedrich-Schöllkopf-Schule in Kirchheim unter Teck.
