Schedule: Weekends - Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 pm - 7:30 am

*An extra $8.00 per hour bonus is offered for this position on weekends*

Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Execute and oversee patient care plans.
Observe, document, and communicate patient condition as necessary.
Act as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Follow through with physician and nursing orders.
Evaluate and organize patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date is mandatory. Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is accepted.
Registered Nurse certification from the Illinois Board of Nursing acquired before hire date or job transfer date is required.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Professional licensure at the time of hire is necessary.
