    Description

    **Privacy Notice** **The City of Phoenix Golf Courses are looking for Outside Guest Service Attendants for the following locations: Aguila, Cave Creek, Encanto 18 and Palo Verde.**

    **ABOUT THE POSITION**

    The Golf outside guest service staff support the daily operation of the golf facility. A high standard of guest service expected, golf operations experience not required but preferred. Attention to detail is critical to the success of the golf program. This is a part time, hourly level position. Under supervision from the Head Golf Professional or First Assistant Golf Professional, the golf outside guest service staff will stage and prepare golf carts for daily play, set-up and breakdown the practice areas daily, clean practice area of all practice balls and debris, empty trash around the facility, clean as requested, detail golf carts and cart storage facility, follow opening and closing procedures, assist to organize events/tournaments, perform starting duties, on course pace of play duties, lift items 50 lbs., work in outside environments with wind and weather extremes, etc.

    **SALARY**

    Starting $15.31 per hour

    This position is classified as part-time and does not include benefits.

    **JOB REQUIREMENTS**

    Must have an excellent work ethic and organizational skills.

    Knowledge of golf course management and operation practices and procedures preferred.

    Knowledge of the standard golf terminology and etiquette.

    Moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds may be required.

    Working irregular hours, shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings may be required.

    Requires working outside in a variety of environmental extremes such as heat, cold, rain, air pollution, and dust.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS The job requirements listed above, plus:

    Experience working at a golf course.

    Experience in guest services preferred.

    Experience in playing or understanding golf.
