Your responsibilities:

  • Personnel management
  • Technical supervision and guidance of 5 parttime professionals, student assistants, trainees, and 10 team members
  • Management and assurance of quality development and assurance in the FÖJ in Westfalen-Lippe
  • External representation of the FÖJ central office
  • Concept development and coordination of public relations, including social media development
  • Agreements with team members and external speakers
  • Financial responsibility and management of thirdparty funds
  • Planning and management of the range of placement opportunities in Westfalen-Lippe

Your profile:

  • Completed (specialized) university degree (diploma/bachelor) in social work/social pedagogy with state recognition
or

  • Another relevant degree program (e.g. diploma/bachelor in social or educational sciences) with many years of professional experience in youth welfare and/or youth promotion
as well as

  • Leadership and/or project management experience/ experience in social management
  • Experience in acquiring and managing thirdparty funds and understanding of economic relationships
  • Interest and commitment to environmental policy
  • Experience, dedication, and openness in implementing solutionoriented counseling and involving young people and young adults, placement opportunities, and organizations
  • Knowledge of current issues and challenges facing young people in the field of environmental and nature conservation
  • Respectful attitude towards young people
  • Teamoriented and cooperative leadership style
  • Communication skills, willingness to engage in dialogue, and moderation skills
  • Conflict and crisis management
