    Reporting to the RMS Strategic Investment Senior Manager, the M&A and LMV support rep is responsible in helping drive the business's inorganic strategy, target pipeline development and associated strategic evaluation.


    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Supporting M&A pipeline of activity, including developing and updating a proactive list of strategic areas of focus and targets, acquisition target company research, identifying candidates for strategic review, and other M&A project
    • Collaborating with the RMS lines of business to assess and compile strategic priorities for inorganic investment
    • Lead and manage day to day duties of executing projects at various phases of the M&A lifecycle
    • Helping with LMV candidate evaluation and shaping strategic priorities for RMS with the LMV team
    • Prepare and deliver quality executive deliverables to RMS and other company leadership on major active projects and other ad-hoc requests
    • Developing and maintaining cross functional relationships across the organization to help develop their inorganic strategy
    • Researching and analyzing M&A activity within the industry to assess impact to LM's business
    Basic Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, liberal arts, engineering, or other related field
    • Experience and familiarity with business strategy, project management, and financial analysis
    • Excellent communication and organization skills
    • Strong executive presence
    • Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Powerpoint
    Desired Skills:


    • Self-starter with ability to take initiative and collaborate with various stakeholders
    • Familiarity with Aerospace and Defense or other related industry
    • Familiarity with Mergers and Acquisitions
    • Strong financial acumen and understanding and ability to analyze financial statements and data
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    Remote Telework:

    The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site.

    Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

    Pay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000.

    Pay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500 .

    (Washington state applicants only)

    Non-represented full-time employees:

    accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

    Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

    PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

    This position is incentive plan eligible.
