Role Description
In this Maintenance Manager role, you will be responsible for various tasks including: overseeing and managing all maintenance procedures, operations, and repairs for the facility and production equipment; ensuring all machinery is up to working standards; assessing current maintenance work processes to optimize efficiency; creating and implementing measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment, etc); scheduling preventative maintenance repairs and inspections for the facility and equipment; training new employees in the department on maintenance work processes and procedures, and performing evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work; maintaining vendor relationships and ordering new materials as needed or picking up parts from suppliers; and working directly with each employee on the plant floor as well as those in leadership and ownership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance
- Extensive knowledge in all mechanical and utility systems
- Previous managerial experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing multiple vendors and ability to consistently maintain positive vendor and employee relationships
- Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and handson responsibilities
- Proficiency in budgeting for the department and leading a small team
- Utilizing Outlook, and various computer software systems to communicate and keep record
- Average computer skills with Microsoft Office
- Physical labor (i.e. bending, squatting, lifting, twisting, crawling, standing)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Pay:
$65, $95,000.00 per year
