BUCO is a traditional, internationally successful medium-sized company in the field of specialized apparatus construction. With customer-specific solutions, modern production processes (stainless steel processing: cutting, welding and forming of sheets) and an excellent reputation, about 40 employees have been generating solid profits for years and securing a leading position in the specialized market segment. We are now looking for a reliable addition to our project department for our company location on the southeastern edge of Hamburg.

Responsibilities

  • Project planning, design and cost calculation of heat exchangers
  • Internal and external project management
  • Consulting with customers on the use of our heat exchangers
  • Conducting development projects

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, refrigeration technology or completed training with additional qualification as a master/technician in a mechanical engineering field
  • Excellent knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics
  • Desirable: Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for pressure vessels (2014/68/EU, EN standards, AD 2000)
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Conscientious work ethic combined with teamwork and good communication skills
  • Good English language skills, both
