As an RN in the Medical Surgical Center, you will be integral in delivering exceptional care.

_Schedule: 36 hours or 24 hours - Nights or Day/Night w/ Rotating Weekends/Holidays._

_


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
_
- _Deliver nursing care in the medical-surgical unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients. _
- _Communicate with various healthcare team members, patients, and their families. _
- _Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues._
- _Update and manage patient records._
- _Enter and interpret computerized data/information._
- _Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC's nursing organization. _
- _Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects._

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
_
- _Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. _
- _1+ years of RN experience preferred. _
- _Certification in basic life support (BLS). _
- _Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification is required in certain units. _
- _Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years. _
- _Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas._
- _Effective verbal and written communication skills. _
- _Physical ability to meet job responsibilities. _
- _Basic computer proficiency._
- _Fluency in another language is a plus._

MUST HAVES:
_

  • 1. Current MA RN License. _
  • 2. Hospital nursing experience or experience in a subacute setting. _
  • 3. Current Basic Life Support Certification._
  • 4. Be able to work in the US without sponsorship/work visa._
