Supervises and coordinates activities of clinical staff
Responsibilities:
+ Acts as a clinical resource for team in daily problem solving + Ensures appropriate patient assessment and treatment + Responsible for coordination of care and education for patients + Provides procedural oversight, if applicable + Participates in quality assurance and quality improvement projects that are identified + Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations + Participates in Regulatory Compliance training and activities + Ensures compliance with established regulations and standards including quality improvement projects, quality assurance, and confidentiality and EHR documentation + Reviews and evaluates the work and performance of subordinates + Has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day to day operations of group + Leads and directs the work of others + A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected + Performs other related duties as assigned + Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field + Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals + Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function + Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Requirements and Minimum Qualifications : + BSN required + Graduate of a nationally accredited Nursing program + State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the 'multistate privilege to practice' compact with Idaho + 3 years of healthcare experience required + 3 years of experience as a charge nurse, manager, clinical instructor or supervisor in a setting related to clinical program preferred + Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS-C) required + Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
