About the position
This is a locally engaged staff position at an overseas Australian Diplomatic Mission.
The position is part of the Embassy Security Operations team within the Corporate Management and Consular Branch in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which is responsible for 24-hour surveillance, security reporting of Embassy property and staff.
The position is responsible for performing reception, administration and security duties including ensuring the protective security of the Embassy premises, personnel and of classified material held within.
Shift work will be required.Benefits

Work Authorisation Requirements
- United States citizen
- A United States lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder)
- Valid US employment authorization
- Please note that A2 visas are valid for a period of 5 years and are nonrenewable. Also, accompanying dependants of LES A2 visa cannot request work authorisation in the United States.
