As an EMC test engineer, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and conducting EMC tests. You will independently operate measurement equipment and EMC32 software, and create test reports. You will also maintain and care for the EMC hall and its technical equipment and systems. Your role will involve optimizing the EMC properties of components, sub-systems, and complete systems, and defining test concepts based on current standards. You will also design test instructions and protocols, and assist in creating cost estimates for internal and external offers. Additionally, you will conduct EMC component tests and support the design departments in creating EMC-compliant hardware. You will also be responsible for conducting qualification and series tests for components, sub-systems, and complete systems, and creating test plans and reports for them.

Be our forward thinker

As a successful candidate, you will have completed an apprenticeship as an electrical engineer with several years of professional experience, or have a degree in a technical field with 2-3 years of work experience. You should have knowledge in high-frequency measurement technology, measurement technology, telecommunications, antenna technology, and radio technology. Fluency in German and English is required, as well as general knowledge of quality management according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for testing laboratories.
